Driving Instructions:

Springfield is located near the intersection of I-90 and I-91 in south central Massachusetts, approx. 90 miles southwest of Boston.
From the South (Hartford): I-91 north to exit 2 in Massachusetts (several miles from the state line). Continue up the hill and the road curves to the left. Take a right at the traffic light on Sumner Avenue. The main entrance to Forest Park is on the right. Proceed past the main entrance of the park and continue on Sumner Ave. through 4 traffic lights until you reach the "X". Take the first right after Walgreen’s (Dunkin Donuts is on the left) and proceed on Dickenson St. for approx. 0.3 mile. Turn at the 2nd right on Trafton Road. Follow the signs for the Cyr Arena entrance to Forest Park.
From the East (Boston/Worcester): Mass Pike (I-90) west to Rt-291 in Chicopee. Follow Rt-291 to I-91 south in Springfield. Proceed south on I-91 to Sumner Ave./Rt-83 (exit 4). Take a left, under the highway. After the 1st traffic light, turn right, up Longhill Street. At the traffic light turn left on Sumner Avenue. Forest Park is on the right. Proceed past the main entrance of the park and continue on Sumner Ave. through 4 traffic lights until you reach the "X". Take the 1st right after Walgreen’s (Dunkin Donuts is on the left) and proceed on Dickenson Street for approx. 0.3 mile. Take the 2nd right on Trafton Road. Follow the signs for the Cyr Arena entrance to Forest Park.
From the West (Berkshires): Mass Pike (I-90) east to I-91 South in Holyoke. Proceed south on I-91 to Sumber Ave./Rt-83 (exit 4). Take a left, under the highway. After the 1st traffic light, turn right, up Longhill Street. At the traffic light turn left on Sumner Avenue. Forest Park is on the right. Proceed past the main entrance of the park and continue on Sumner Ave. through 4 traffic lights until you reach the "X". Take the 1st right after Walgreen’s (Dunkin Donuts is on the left) and proceed on Dickenson Street for approx. 0.3 mile. Take the 2nd right on Trafton Road. From the North (Greenfield): I-91 south to Springfield. Proceed south on I-91 to Sumner Ave./Rt-83 (exit 4). Take a left, under the highway.
