North Adams is located at the intersection of Rt-2 and Rt-8 in northwest Massachusetts, approx. 60 miles northwest of Springfield and several miles south fo the Vermont state line. From Rt-2 (Boston/Worcester): Rt-2 west to North Adams (approx. 2 hours from Boston). After traveling past the Hairpin Turn on Rt-2, travel approx. 5 more miles on Rt-2 to the 1st traffic light in North Adams. A McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts are on the right. At the traffic light, turn left on S. Church St. and proceed south approx. 2.5 miles to rink on the right. From the Mass Turnpike (I-90): West on the Mass Pike (I-90) to US-20 West (exit 2/Lee). Past the toll booth, turn right on US-7/US-20 (toward Pittsfield). Stay on US-7/US-20 into Pittsfield. In Pittsfield, turn right on Rt-9 toward Windsor/Dalton. Proceed approx. 3 miles on Rt-9 to Rt-8 (major intersection with shopping plazas on the left & right). Turn left on Rt-8 (toward Adams & North Adams). Proceed north on Rt-8 through Cheshire & Adams Center until you see the "Entering North Adams" sign. At the 2nd traffic light past the sign, turn right off Rt-8 onto Rt-8A. The rink is approx. 0.5 mile up Rt-8A on the right. (time from toll booth to rink is approx. 30-40 minutes).
