Amherst is located just east of I-91 at the intersection of Rt-9 and Rt-116 in central Massachusetts, approx. 25 miles north of Springfield and approx. 100 miles west of Boston.
From I-91 Northbound: North on I-91 to Rt-9 (Northampton/Amherst) exit 19. East (right) on Rt-9 and go approximately five miles to Rt-116 North. North (left) on Rt-116 (across from Staples) for one mile to UMass exit N. Hadley Rd./Massachusetts Ave. Take a right off the ramp on to Massachusetts Ave. West on Massachusetts to Mullins Way North (left) on Commonwealth (second set of lights) to Mullins Memorial Center. Follow directions for arena parking attendants.
From I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike: I-90 to I-91 North (West Springfield) exit 4. North on I-91 to Rt-9 (Northampton/Amherst) exit 19. East (right) on Rt-9 and go approximately five miles to Rt-116 North. North (left) on Rt-116 (across from Staples) for one mile to UMass exit N.
