Marathon is located along Hwy-17, approx. mid-way between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay.
From Sault Ste. Marie: Hwy-17 (Trans Canada) west approx. 402 km to Peninsula Rd. (at the airport). Turn left on Peninsula Rd. and proceed southwest approx. 4 km to Marathon.
From Thunder Bay: Rt-17 (Trans Canada) east approx. 295 km to Peninsula Rd. (at the east end of the airport). Turn right on Peninsula Rd. and proceed southwest approx. 4 km to Marathon.
