Driving Instructions:
Huntsville is located at the intersection of US-72 (I-565) and US-231 in northern Alabama, approx. 100 miles north of Birmingham and approx. 110 miles south of Nashville.
From I-65 (North or South): I-65 to I-565 East (Huntsville) exit 340. Travel about 19 miles to US-231/South Memorial Parkway exit 19A. As you merge into Memorial Parkway take the first exit, Clinton Street. Loop around to the red light, and turn right on to Clinton Street. Follow Clinton to the North Hall parking area to your right, or drive on to the red light at Monroe Street and turn right. You will drive past the front of the VBC (handicap parking is in front of the Box Office) and you can turn right at the Williams Street light to enter the South Hall parking garage. North Hall parking is $4, South Hall parking is covered and costs $4.
From US-72 Westbound: Entering Huntsville from US-72 West (from Scottsboro), take exit 19-A to Jefferson Street after US-72 West merges into I-565. Follow Jefferson Street to the first red light at Monroe Street, and turn right. Stay on Monroe until you come to the Clinton Street red light. You can turn right on Clinton to go the North Hall parking area (it will be on your left - $4 to park) or continue to go straight on Monroe. The Box Office will be on your right, and the handicap parking area. Go on past this to the light at Williams Street. Turn right on to Williams Street to enter the South Hall parking garage ($4, covered parking).
From US-431 West: Coming in from Guntersville, US-431 West will become Governors Drive. Follow Governors Drive across California Street and past Huntsville Hospital on your right. Turn right at the red light at Monroe Street. Go through the red light at St. Clair, and turn left on Pollard Street at the VBC Parking sign to enter the South Hall parking garage ($4, covered parking). If you are going to the North Hall parking area you can keep going until the light at Clinton Street and turn right. North Hall will be on your left.
