Kamloops is located at the intersection of British Columbia's four major highways (Coquihalla/Hwy-5, TransCanada/Hwy-1, Yellowhead/Hwy-5 and Hwy-97) in south central British Columbia, approx. 350 km northeast of Vancouver.
From the West (Vancouver): Hwy-1 east approx. 140 km to Hwy-3 (Hwy-1 becomes Hwy-3 for approx. 6 km). Take Coquihalla Hwy. (Hwy-5) toward Merrit/Kelowna/Kamloops. Follow Hwy-5 east approx. 185 km toward Kamloops. Hwy-5 becomes Hwy-1/Hwy-97 for approx. 10 km near Kamloops. Take Hwy-5 North exit toward Jasper (exit 374). Proceed north on Hwy-5 (Yellowhead Hwy.) approx. 3.5 km to Okanagan Street. Turn left on Okanagan St. and proceed approx. 0.75 km to Dene Rd. (Okanagan St. becomes Okanagan Way). Turn right on Dene Rd. and watch for arena on the left.
