Gold River is located on Rt-28 near the center of Vancouver Island. From Victoria: Hwy-1 (Trans Canada) north approx. 103 km to Rt-19 North. Proceed north on Rt-19 approx. 159 km to Rt-19A (in Campbell River). Turn left on Rt-19A (Island Hwy.) and proceed west approx. 4 km to Rt-28 (Rt-19A becomes Rt-28). Continue west on Rt-28 (Gold River Hwy.) approx. 80 km to Gold River.
