Plaster Rock's World Pond Hockey Championships is an annual event where over 120 teams compete on Lake Roulston's 20 outdoor rinks. Plaster Rock is located along the banks of the Tobique river in northwestern New Brunswick, approx. 120 km southeast of Grand Falls. From Edmundston: Hwy-2 (Trans Canada) east approx. 57 km to Rt-108 (exit 75) near Grand Falls. Bear right onto Rt-108 (Madawaska Rd.) and proceed southeast approx. 24 km to Rt-393. Continue straight onto Rt-393 and proceed southeast approx. 12 km (turn left near Sisson Ridge to stay on Rt-393) to Rt-385. Continue straight onto Rt-385 and proceed southeast approx. 10 km (becomes Main St.) to Plaster Rock Tourist Park and Roulston Lake on the south side of Plaster Rock. From Fredericton: Hwy-2 (Trans Canada) west approx. 170 km to Secondary Rt-190. Bear right onto Secondary Rt-190 and proceed north approx. 2 km and turn right to cross the St. John River. After crossing the St. John River, turn left on Rt-105 and proceed north approx. 0.4 km to Rt-109. Bear right onto Rt-109 and proceed northeast approx. 40 km to Rt-108 in Plaster Rock. Proceed west on Rt-108 (across Tobique River) approx. 0.4 km to Main Street. Turn left on Main St. and proceed south a short distance to Plaster Rock Tourist Park and Roulston Lake on the right.
