Inverness is located along Rt-19 on the west side of Cape Breton Island in northeast Nova Scotia, approx. 350 km northeast of Halifax. From Halifax: Rt-118 north approx. 16 km to Rt-102 North (toward airport). Proceed north on Rt-102 approx. 74 km to Rt-104 (Trans Canada) East. Proceed east (toward Cape Breton) on Rt-104 approx. 168 km to roundabout (just across the Strait of Canso). Follow Rt-19 (3rd exit from roundabout) northeast approx. 85 km to Forest St. in Inverness. Turn right on Forest St. and proceed southeast approx. 0.5 km to arena at the end of the street.
