From New York City/New Jersey & Points South: New York State Thruway (I-87) north to Exit 24 (Albany). Proceed north on I-87 (Adirondack Northway) approx. 99 miles to US-9 (exit 30). Proceed north on US-9 approx. 2 miles to Rt-73. Continue north on Rt-73 approx. 28 miles to Main St. (Rt-86) in Lake Placid. Turn left on Main St. (Rt-86) and proceed northwest approx. 0.25 mile to Mirror Lake Road. Turn right on Mirror Lake Rd. and proceed northeast approx. 0.5 mile to Mirror Lake on the left. Drive time from New York City - 5 hours, Albany - 2.5 hours.
From Boston/Springfield/Hartford: Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to I-787 in Albany. Proceed north on I-787 (toward Troy) approx. 6 miles to Rt-7 West (exit 9W). Proceed west on Rt-7 (toward Schenectady/I-87) approx. 3.5 miles to I-87 North. Proceed north on I-87 (Adirondack Northway) approx. 99 miles to US-9 (exit 30). Proceed north on US-9 approx. 2 miles to Rt-73. Continue north on Rt-73 approx. 28 miles to Main St. (Rt-86) in Lake Placid. Turn left on Main St. (Rt-86) and proceed northwest approx. 0.25 mile to Mirror Lake Road. Turn right on Mirror Lake Rd. and proceed northeast approx. 0.5 mile to Mirror Lake on the left.
From Buffalo/Rochester/Syracuse & Points West: I-90 (New York State Thruway) east to I-81 North (exit 36/Syracuse). Proceed north on I-81 north approx. 65 miles Rt-3 (exit 45) in Watertown. Turn right on Rt-3 and proceed east approx. 120 miles to Rt-86 in Saranac Lake. Proceed east on Rt-86 approx. 9 miles to Mirror Lake Rd. in Lake Placid. Turn left on Mirror Lake Rd. and proceed northeast approx. 0.5 mile to Mirror Lake on the left. Drive time from Buffalo - 5.5 hours, from Rochester - 4.5 hours, from Syracuse 3.5 hours.
From Toronto: Hwy-401 east to Cornwall Bridge. Proceed east on Rt-37 to Rt-30 Malone. Proceed south on Rt-30 to Rt-86 in Paul Smiths. Turn left on Rt-86 and proceed east to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Turn left on Mirror Lake Rd. and proceed northeast approx. 0.5 mile to Mirror Lake on the left. Drive time - 5.5 hours.
From Ottawa: Hwy-417 east to Rt-138. Proceed south on Rt-138 to the Cornwell Bridge. Proceed east on Rt-37 to Rt-30 Malone. Proceed south on Rt-30 to Rt-86 in Paul Smiths. Turn left on Rt-86 and proceed east to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Turn left on Mirror Lake Rd. and proceed northeast approx. 0.5 mile to Mirror Lake on the left. Drive time - 3 hours.
