Aberdeen is located at the intersection of US-12 and US-281 in northeast South Dakota, approx. 200 miles northwest of Sioux Falls and approx. 160 miles northeast of Pierre. From the North: US-281 south to County Hwy-15, turn east and continue to the fairgrounds located on the north side of the highway. From the South: US-281 north through Aberdeen to County Hwy-15. Turn east and continue to the fairgrounds located on the north side of the highway. From the West: US Hwy-12 east to US-281 North. Proceed north on US-281 to County Hwy-15. Turn east on Hwy-15 and continue to the fairgrounds located on the north side of the highway. From the East: US-12 west to Roosevelt Street. Turn north on Roosevelt St. and continue to 24th Ave. NE (Fairgrounds Road). Turn west on 24th Ave. NE and continue to the fairgrounds on the north side of the road.
