Sterling is located at the intersection of Rt-28 and Rt-625 (Waxpool Rd.) in northern Virginia, approx. 7 miles northwest of Reston and approx. 25 miles northwest of Washington DC.
From Washington DC: George Washington Memorial Pkwy. north approx. 5.5 miles to Rt-123 South. Bear right onto Rt-123 (Dolly Madison Blvd.) and proceed south approx. 4 miles to Rt-267 West. Proceed west (toward Dulles Airport) on Rt-267 approx. 12.5 miles to Rt-28 North (exit 9B). Proceed north on Rt-28 (Sully Rd.) approx. 4.5 miles to Severn Way. Turn right on Severn Way and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
From Leesburg: Rt-7/Market St. east approx. 8 miles (becomes Harry Byrd Highway) to Rt-28 South (toward Dulles Airport). Bear right onto Rt-28/Sully Rd. and proceed south approx. 1.75 miles to Severn Way. Turn left on Severn Way and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
From Centreville: US-29/Lee Hwy. to Rt-28/Sully Rd. North. Proceed north on Sully Rd./Rt-28 (toward Dulles Airport) approx. 13 miles to Severn Way. Turn right on Severn Way and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
From Chantilly: US-50/Lee Jackson Memorial Highway to Rt-28/Sully Rd. North. Proceed north on Sully Rd./Rt-28 (toward Dulles Airport) approx. 9 miles to Severn Way. Turn right on Severn Way and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
From Falls Church/Tyson's Corner: Rt-7/Broad St. west approx. 17 miles (becomes Leesburg Pike, then Harry Byrd Hwy.) to Cascades Pkwy. South (approx. 0.75 mile past Sterling Boulevard). Proceed south on Cascades Pkwy. (toward Sterling) approx. 1 mile to Woodland Rd. (not Woodshire). Turn right on Woodland Rd. and proceed west approx. 0.6 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn left on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
From the North (I-495): I-495 south (toward Northern Virginia) to Rt-267 West (exit 45A). Proceed west on Rt-267 (toward Dulles Airport) approx. 12 miles to Rt-28/Sully Rd. (exit 9B) Proceed north on Rt-28 (Sully Rd.) approx. 4.5 miles to Severn Way. Turn right on Severn Way and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
From Manassas: Rt-28/Centreville Rd. north approx. 20 miles (becomes Rt-28/Sully Rd.) to Severn Way. Turn right on Severn Way and proceed east approx. 0.25 mile to Atlantic Boulevard. Turn right on Atlantic Blvd. and proceed south to facility on the left (if you reach Steeplechase Dr., you've gone too far).
