Lake Forest is located along I-94 on the west shore of Lake Michigan in northeast Illinois, approx. 30 miles north of Chicago and approx. 15 miles south of the Wisconsin state line. From I-94 North: I-94 to Rt. 60/Town Line Rd. exit (also known as Kennedy Rd.). East on Rt. 60/Town Line Rd. approx. 1.5 miles to Waukegan Rd./Rt-43. North (left) on Waukegan Rd./Rt-43 1/4 mile to Deerpath Rd. East (right) on Deerpath approx. 2.1 miles (through town) to Sheridan Rd. South (right) on Sheridan Rd. 1/2 mile to Maplewood. Turn right on Maplewood to Lake Forest College Ice Arena. (Note: Maplewood becomes driveway to arena - arena is second building on left). Enter building through northeast corner. From I-294:I-294 to I-94 North and follow above directions. From I-94 South: I-94 (Edens Expressway) north toward Waukegan. I-94 (Edens Expressway) to US-41 (sign from I-94 south says "North 41 - Waukegan"). North on US-41 7.5 miles to Deerpath Rd. East (right) on Deerpath approx. 1.6 miles (through town) to Sheridan Rd. South (right) on Sheridan Rd. 1/2 mile to Maplewood. Turn right on Maplewood to Lake Forest College Ice Arena. (Note: Maplewood becomes driveway to arena - arena is second building on left).
