Kamloops is located at the intersection of British Columbia's four major highways (Coquihalla/Hwy-5, TransCanada/Hwy-1, Yellowhead/Hwy-5 and Hwy-97) in south central British Columbia, approx. 350 km northeast of Vancouver.
From the West (Vancouver): Hwy-1 east approx. 140 km to Hwy-3 (Hwy-1 becomes Hwy-3 for approx. 6 km). Take Coquihalla Hwy. (Hwy-5) toward Merrit/Kelowna/Kamloops. Follow Hwy-5 east approx. 185 km toward Kamloops. Hwy-5 becomes Hwy-1/Hwy-97 for approx. 7 km near Kamloops. Take Columbia Street exit (369). Proceed straight for Columbia Street. Continue on Columbia St. down the hill to 3rd Ave. (stay in the left lane). Turn left at 3rd Ave. (one way northbound). Move to the right lane. Proceed on 3rd Ave. across railroad tracks to stop sign at Lorne Street. Arena is ahead on the right.
From the North (Jasper/Clearwater/Barriere): Hwy-5 south across the South Thompson River on the Yellowhead Bridge. Stay in the right lane and prepare to turn right immediately after crossing the bridge. Turn right on River Street. Follow River St. to Lorne Street. Turn right on Lorne Street. Proceed on Lorne St. to arena on the right.
From the East (Salmon Arm/Vernon): Hwy-1/Hwy-97 west to Hwy-5 north (Jasper). Once on Hwy-5, move to the left lane and prepare to turn left before to crossing the Yellowhead Bridge. Turn left on River Street and proceed to Lorne Street. Turn right on Lorne St. and proceed to arena on the right.
