Kamloops is located at the intersection of British Columbia's four major highways (Coquihalla/Hwy-5, TransCanada/Hwy-1, Yellowhead/Hwy-5 and Hwy-97) in south central British Columbia, approx. 350 km northeast of Vancouver.
From the West (Vancouver): Hwy-1 east approx. 140 km to Hwy-3 (Hwy-1 becomes Hwy-3 for approx. 6 km). Take Coquihalla Hwy. (Hwy-5) toward Merrit/Kelowna/Kamloops. Follow Hwy-5 east approx. 185 km toward Kamloops. Hwy-5 becomes Hwy-1/Hwy-97 for approx. 7 km near Kamloops. Take Columbia Street exit (369). Proceed straight on Columbia St. approx. 0.5 km to Summit Drive. Turn left on Summit Dr. and proceed approx. 2 km to Victoria Street. Fork right on Victoria St. and proceed approx. 1.4 km to ramp toward North Shore. Curve right onto ramp and proceed across the river on Fortune Drive. Once across the river, take the ramp for Tranquille Road. Proceed west on Tranquille Rd. approx. 0.5 km to Yew Street. Turn left on Yew St. and proceed 1 block to Mackenzie Avenue. Turn left on Mackenzine Ave. and proceed approx. 0.3 km to MacArthur Island. Turn left on Island Pkwy. and watch for arena on the right.
